• Managing and improving the Site, including troubleshooting, analytics, testing and enhancing user experience.
• Maintaining records, managing relationships and complying with internal policies and procedures.
• Complying with legal, regulatory and compliance obligations, including those imposed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and other authorities.
• Any other purpose that is reasonably related to the above, or which we notify you of at the time of collection and for which you give your consent where required.

By providing your personal data to us and using this Site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes described in this Notice.

Where required by law, we will seek your express consent before using your personal data for direct marketing or other specified purposes.

If you are providing someone else’s personal data, you confirm that you have obtained their consent to provide their data for the relevant purposes.

We may charge a reasonable fee for processing an access request, where permitted by law. If we are unable to fulfil a request, we will inform you of the reason, unless we are not required to do so under applicable law.

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks.

These may include administrative, technical and physical safeguards. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting any passwords, login credentials or other means of accessing the Site or communications.

9. Retention of personal data

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

When personal data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or otherwise dispose of it in a secure manner.

• Affluence Wealth Advisory and/or Manulife Singapore, where necessary to follow up on your enquiries or provide advisory services;
• third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as website hosting, email, analytics, customer relationship management or IT support);
• professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors or consultants, where reasonably necessary; and
• regulators, law enforcement agencies or other authorities where required by law.

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the receiving party provides a standard of protection comparable to the protection required under the PDPA.

This Site may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• improve Site performance and user experience.
